Hendai Smart City

Hendai Smart City is a mixed urban development masterpiece developed to sit on 1.2 million square metres (120 hectares) of land. The city is strategically located in Itu, Akwa Ibom state, the highest oil and gas producing state in Nigeria. Having an annual revenue estimate of 32 billion US dollars, Akwa Ibom is the third wealthiest state by GDP in Nigeria.

Industrial Hub

This is the manufacturing area of the city that will house light, medium and heavy industries. The products of these industries will include mobile phones, phone accesories, hair extensions, drinks, agro-allied products, household items, textiles, beverages, electronic and computer products, ceramic products, modern furniture products, sanitary wears, etc.

The factories are designed in line with modern architectural concepts equipped with top-notch production systems, safety mechanisms and standard processes. Hendai Group has signed production agreements with foreign partners for the supply of technology and equipment, the marketing of products using their existing networks. Partners and Investors willing to engage with Hendai Group in manufacturing, stand the chance of enjoying special privileges of maximum infrastructural facilities and ease of doing business.

Business District

The Commercial or Business District will be the day-to-day economic hub of Hendai Smart City. It will host the financial institutions to conduct financial transactions locally and cross border payments for all businesses in the city. It will also contain an International shopping mall, international conference center, International school, Hendai Chinese Technology Centre, hotels, hospitals, open market, etc.

Our Commercial district is the economic center for buying and selling of various products produced in our factories, as well as imported quality products. Hendai Group has designed a program to ensure that only quality products are sold at regulated prices in our economic center. Independent investors can apply for land allocation to set up their investment in the districts. Residential Township

Hendai Residential Township will take care of Hendai City housing scheme. It will be divided into different zones with each having its unique architectural masterpiece for different categories of occupants. This is the administrative arm of the city. It coordinates the entire day-to-day activities of the city. Facilities in the administrative area include an Administrative building which houses all the departments that oversee the various units of the city, police stations, fire service stations, Consular services buildings, control office and others.

The Consular Service Building will ensure all international business owners and visitors in the city can process their travelling documents inside Hendai Smart City.

Hendai Fire Service unit is armed to the teeth and will be at constant alert ready for prompt response to any event of emergency.

The City has 24/7 digital security system and armed personnel for maximum security services assisted by members of the Nigerian Police Force with office inside the City.

Tourism & Recreational Complex

Hendai Tourism & Recreational Complex is designed to be the first of its kind in Nigeria, aimed at hosting diverse but unique cultural and historical footprints. It will play host to over 500,000 tourists across the globe annually, while providing an alternative to people willing to travel overseas for vacations either on official or family basis but not able to do so.

Our tourisms facilities will serve residents, business owners and leisure travelers alike. It will include an African Village Resort with different African kitchens and delicacies, thereby giving the tourists opportunity to have choice meals.
